Welcome buffet

The workshop onsite reception will open at 18:00 on Sunday, July 21st, at the 39° level Belvedere of the Palazzo Lombardia at the Venue site. While the registration is open we will offer a welcome buffet in the area which will host the poster session and the exhibitions.

Poster session aperi-cena

On Monday, 22nd July, we will have the inaugural evening of the poster session and we will offer to the participants and the accompanying persons an aperi-cena (evening buffet).

Social dinner

On Wednesday, 24nd July, the workshop social dinner will take place in the garden of the beautiful Villa Necchi Campiglio, a Casa Museo (Museum house) which will be open for guided visits during the aperitif served around the pool.

Wednesday afternoon tours

During online workshop registration, participants will be asked to opt for the tours organized for the Wednesday afternoon, 24th July.

Bergamo alta

Bergamo, a "double" city, the Upper Town and the Lower City, symbol of the city's past and present, respectively. And it is precisely from the Upper Town that we will make our visit. Surrounded by its walls that from the Roman era delimited it, several times rebuilt and modified, but still today a privileged point of observation on the city landscape.

Milano walk tour

We will start from the Regio Ducal Teatro or "il teatrino", the Scala theater created for the Empress Maria Teresa of Austria, by architect Giuseppe Piermarini. We will proceed through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and end the tour in Brera, one of the most picturesque corners of the city. Along the way the guide will talk about lots of unpublished stories and contemporary curiosities. Optional stops will be visits to the Duomo and Castello Sforzesco interiors.

Milano historical tram tour

The historical tram tour takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes and it is conducted by an art historian who will accompany you on the tram and explain the history, anecdotes and curiosities about Milano.

The Local Organizing Committee will also organize last minute free activities aimed at sharing and discovering Milano.
