Information about abstract submissions and conference material formats

Abstracts

To submit an abstract use the LTD-18 Indico site: under "Call for abstracts" click "Submit a new abstract".

You will be re-directed to a login page. If you do not have an INFN account, please choose the option to login "as an external user" and follow the directions to create a new Indico account.

The deadline for abstract submission is April 15th, 2019

Abstracts can be submitted for either oral or poster presentations. When submitting the abstract fill the form with at least one author (the presenter) and choose the most suitable track. In case of doubt you can choose more than one track. Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC). The SAC will also check the appropriateness of the chosen track.

Posters

Posters will be displayed for the all week. Presenters will be asked to attach their posters on Monday morning and to remove them on Friday by 6:00 PM.

The poster format is A0 with portrait orientation (W x H = 841mm x 1189mm).

Presenters are required to upload their posters in pdf or ppt format on the LTD-18 Indico site July 22nd at latest.

Posters are divided in 2 sessions on Tuesday 23 and Thursday 25. Poster positions in the exhibition are identified by a unique ID (full poster program with Session and ID). During their Poster Session, presenters are supposed to stand by their poster to present it.

Presentations selected for the poster session can be accompanied by a promotional video (similarly to LTD-17) to be also uploaded on the LTD-18 Indico site.

Instructions for video preparation and deadline for uploading here.

Slides

The on-site HD projector allows for both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios (1920Ă—1080). Allowed formats are pdf or ppt. Once the talk is given, authors will have the option to change the uploaded material with a publishable version.
